⭐ Organizational Profile
Sunshine Action stands as an international philanthropic institution, established in Hong Kong in 2008 with a mandate to combat poverty through cross-border collaboration. Nearly 17 years of humanitarian stewardship, we have forged strategic alliances with 940+ charitable entities across 24 nations & regions – spanning the United States, United Kingdom, China, Canada, Chile, Vietnam, etc… and most recently spearheading critical relief initiatives in Los Angeles (wildfire response). Our interventions have delivered transformative support to 430,000+ beneficiaries worldwide.

Aligned with the United Nations Agenda, our programming advances 13 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with core emphasis on Zero Hunger and No Poverty. As a strictly non-sectarian, apolitical entity, we maintain operational purity through a 100% volunteer-driven model, ensuring 96% of resources directly serve beneficiaries.

Summary

Since 2021, Sunshine Action has been establishing a new branch office in the US. We would like to invite students interested in charity and social service to join a summer internship and conduct a wide range of tasks, which involves organising humanitarian programs and events, for our US and Hong Kong branches. We are aiming to focus on practical actions and events in this internship. A set of impactful responsibilities is given below as some examples.​
